I finally put the pieces together and realized that my friends had set this whole thing up. The only thing that I couldn't wrap my head around was: How come Greyson wasn't at the movie premiere?
As Greyson was singing his part, the memory of that picture I saw of him kissing Lauren, flashed in my head. I felt this bit of anger stiring inside. But deep down, I was glad to see him again. Somehow I felt like he rescued me; saved me from falling into a relentless darkness.
I joined in on the chorus with him, feeling the energy from the crowd.
"So it's over, yeah we're through! So Imma unfriend you! You're the best lier, I've ever knew! So Imma unfriend you!"
As I sang "Cause I should've known, right from the start," the fans started cheering wildly. "I'm deleting you right from my heart." Greyson sang.
"So it's over! My last move, is to unfriend you!" We harmonized together.
When the song came to an end, the roar from the crowd was deafening. Me and Greyson were facing each other, the position we were in when we hit the last notes. Greyson gave me a shy-looking smile. I could tell he was thinking "Please forgive me?" I returned the smile, and his grew larger and more confident.
Greyson lifted the mic to his mouth and said "The Dreams Come True premiere got delayed until 8 o'clock tonight, due to a few things certain people needed to work out." He looked at me and then smirked. I pretended not to get what he meant, which got a few laughs from the crowd. "So," Greyson continued, "I was wondering if you would care to go with me?" He took my hand and looked into my eyes. I took a moment and purposely waited, pretending that I was thinking hard; Which, in a way was true. I just loved how everyone was on their toes, waiting to hear a response. Finally, I said "Yes, I would love to!" Everyone in the crowd whooped and hollered, applauded and cheered. Things were starting to look a lot better now.
